Our IX Restaurant Reopens After Two Year Closure
Open for bookings now from 2 June

Our two red rosette IX Restaurant is reopening after a break, due to the pandemic, of more than two years. The IX Restaurant will be open on Thursday 2 June, Thursdays to Saturdays from 6.30pm serving an all new three course table d’hôte menu. It will also be open for Sunday lunches. Bookings are now open.
At the centre of the Restaurant is the theatre kitchen where diners can watch the Chester chefs at work creating fine dining dishes.
Dishes on the June menu include Scottish lamb rump with potato terrine and heritage carrots, stone bass with west coast langoustine, broccoli and sauce Americane and Caledonian crown beef fillet with mushroom ketchup and parmesan and truffle chips. Two courses or three courses are priced at £37.50 and £47.50 respectively.

Head chef Chris Gray says,
“We are serving local produce cooked to perfection in a menu which changes with the seasons. The whole team in the kitchen is looking forward to welcoming back diners, We’ve been working on the development of new dishes with a real and increased focus on local and Scottish suppliers where at all possible – local seafood, beef, pork, cheeses and soft fruits will all be stars of the show.”
